WHAT ARE EDUCATION SERVICES?

At Integrate Health Services, we provide customized education support to help clients maximize their learning potential. We work with students from kindergarten to grade 12 with a wide range of abilities and diverse needs. Our Educational Services include two unique programs: Academic Skill Building and Homework Help. Our Education Services are provided in collaboration with members of our multidisciplinary team, which includes a Psychologist, Behavioural Pediatrician, Social Worker, Psychometrists/Education Consultants, and Educators.

• Academic Skills Building:
  Our Academic Skills Building program includes structured intervention services for building foundational academic skills. This program is aligned with the Ontario Curriculum and is designed for students who are struggling in literacy and/or mathematics. Our Educators deliver customized lessons to meet every child’s unique needs. Your child’s progress is then monitored and shared with you throughout their enrolment in the program via monthly progress reports.
• Homework Help:
  Our Homework Help program is ideal for those students who require extra help to maintain academic achievement in various areas of study but are not behind academically. Our Educators will work with your child to ensure they are meeting grade expectations by assisting with any homework assignments and/or providing supplemental activities to reinforce key grade-specific skills that require more practice to master.

HOW DO WE CUSTOMIZE OUR SUPPORT?

We offer an initial comprehensive standardized assessment to identify your child’s strengths and challenges in core academic areas in order to provide a detailed summary of their current level of achievement. This allows our team to develop individualized programming for your child, delivered through our Academic Skills Building program. Your child’s progress is then monitored through regular progress reports which detail their achievements and areas for continued improvement.

OUR EDUCATION SERVICES TEAM:

Our Educators are Ontario Certified Teachers who have the ability to customize their approach to meet the needs of a variety of learners. They are overseen by our Education Consultants, Ashley Milucci (M.S.Ed.) and Mikayla Jeffery (M.A.) who are also Ontario Certified Teachers and Psychometrists who ensure academic programming is designed with your child’s unique needs in mind. Our team possesses the skills and experience to meet the needs of all learners including those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, learning disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, and many more.
Our Education Consultants and Educators are supervised by Kylie Newstadt (Director/Social Worker) and Dr. Allan Eng (Director of Mental Health Services/Psychologist). Dr. Sohail Khattak (Behavioural Pediatrician with the Kids Clinic) will also oversee services for his affiliated clients.
